Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Trump should ask Will mfg come back to phx?

Wish Trump would ask why there are so many empty buildings.
Where did all the work go?
Will Honeywell bring the work back home to America?

This business was for sale in mid February while the pandemic raged in China and the EU.

The SPS division missed the numbers by declining -9% in Q1 and -8% in Q4 but CEO always says that the large material handling backlog will recover......still waiting. The largest competitor in the SPS only had a revenue decline of -1% in Q1 and increased YoY. Share declines which have been propped by by HON acquiring other business to break. Cote model followed by the DA model.

I guess the HIPAC contributions bought a photo op despite the pathetic loss in the market place.

This makes my quantum computing head explode.

Trump and his evil minion McSally are behind in the poles....his trip here was purely political. Millionaires who have had "Silver Spoons" all their life can give a R@Ts @SS about the working people. We are all here just to be exploited. Don the Con at his best!

Based on many safety issues I’ve seen in many labs run by PhDs I wouldn’t trust them with their recommendations on safety practices and PPE advice. Although face coverings aren’t PPE but if all use properly can help reduce the spread

Face masks are mostly a joke, no one in scientific circles wears them

The optics of the site visit do not portray a positive Honeywell image.

The president did not wear a mask at the factory, even though workers at the facility did, even after telling reporters at the White House that he was likely do so.

A sign was visible on Trump's tour that read, 'Attention: Face Mask Required in this Area Thank You!' - though DA also did not wear a mask during the tour.

POTUS couldn’t care less about manufacturing. Just optics for the next election cycle.

I worked for engines for over 20 years. I was a primary contributor to the development of several successful products. I’m fortunate to have been given the opportunities. I’ve been gone from engines for over 10 years. Lucky me.

Big business and big money has moved the high technology gas turbine engine manufacturing jobs to low cost regions of the world. Sad to see. Pay attention folks.

Ok fair enough. Sit at home, wear your mask, go broke and watch your job and any hope of normalcy disappear because you are afraid about a 0.01% chance you might die. In the end we all die. Good luck!

DA doesn’t like manufacturing...he refused to allowed 2000 part numbers to be manufactured in-house from suppliers who were having challenges delivering parts for Supplier Transformation. But he allows PPE to be manufactured at 34th Street? How long do you think that’ll last? You know the price of each Mask is going to be very expensive and to think Cali is going to buy 48million masks from Honeywell.

Only 40,000 DMs left. Find an empty warehouse, invite the retirees to a party and tell them the plan, and all 40k walk and the retirees design will be there. When it is our investment and our childrens future. Well, that widget would be amazing.

The video is on youtube. Watch the guy who resigned from Boeing after many years to come work for the company that takes raises away, implements furloughs, and recently announced layoffs! Great idea mo–n. I’m sure he “resigned”

Move that line to Juarez, Mexico as soon as the motorcade's tail-lights go dim. That's the Honeywell way!
