You do know the difference between forced and volunteer right?

The reason people are focused on it is he didn’t lie about his degree. He listed the known diploma mill he got it from and UP was so dumb they posted it in the announcement of him being promoted. Then they promoted him again. Then he remained a senior level executive for 12 years after the first PR release of his being promoted.

That is by far the only time a manager didn’t have a legitimate degree at UP but definitely the most funny and embarrassing for the company.

What is funny is that 1 guy out of how many employees lies about his degree and y’all stay hyperfocused on that for the last 1.5 years. It is pretty comical when that is your focus over and over to ad nauseam.

So let me get this straight. Since the company is making the managers take time off they will get unemployment benefits through the RRB but if a agreement employee volunteers for under time to help prevent furloughs they dont according to the RRB website. So this is still the company looking out for the management and screwing over the agreement employees. And the managers may also still get bonuses at the end of the year. So they might actually come out ahead.

Who’s butthurt? 10% is chump change. Especially when the bars and restaurants are closed. No special calculator needed.

Which months between May and August have 5 complete weeks? 3 extra days doesn’t make it go from 25% to 10%.

Basically nobody gives a sh– and still no reason to be jealous of a manager has been given.

It’s about 10% after the rrb money and there are more than 4 weeks in a month. Executive level are the only ones getting a 25% hit. Know your facts.

Managers are getting fired just like agreement. The fact that some managers still have a job is not a reason to go into management. There are still agreement employees with jobs too. And it is 25% off for four months.

Then here in North Platte we should actually feel pretty lucky we arent getting laid off anytime soon. But we can take vacation when ever we want to help out guys on bottom from getting laid off. We at least stick together and help each-other out.

Tell that to Jenks and desoto and all the others getting nothing. And the 25% is actually about 10%.
