Nothing in May. Wait till end of June. CSTs, COTs and Nets all going to take a big hit.
If you have not figured it out yet, the new pay scale for the contract negotiated in October kicks in June, they really want to clear the books of any money they can before they have to start paying that out, you also have Pension and other perks to Managers that are on the books they can get rid of the payments to support those plans by releasing as many as they can.
This is just a way to clear payroll and benefit contributions and limit the amount paid into the Pension fund before they have to compensate those left. This will continue after June but sets up things so they don't feel the effect.
Now add the bonus of all the new connections due to the virus and they will look good come next quarter and can pat themselves on the back taking advantage of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Friday, they laid off 30 percent of the OSMs (Operation Service Managers).
