Just received an invite to the Aerospace Q2 townhall - for May 5th. Apparently (lack of) leadership were unaware (or don't care) that half the employees will be out on furlough that week

@2pet, there are two separate meetings called during "green team" week: Aero Town Hall Tues, May 5th; Global Town Hall Thu, May 7th. Both during a week when up to 1/2 our population is out on "unpaid leave". Insensitive timing if you ask me......
Is it global townhall meeting on May 5th? Not only for aero. Anyway they don't care about the receiving end anyway...

You know folks, you might watch the Honeywell 1st Quarter investor webcast conference call on May 1st (info on the link). It should be very telling on the 2nd quarter and full year outlook. Over the years I've noticed the town hall meetings are pretty much a rehash of the same info given on these investor conference calls.
The point is they are holding an Aerospace wide meeting while roughly half the staff cannot (under penalty of being fired) attend. Obviously they don't care for employee participation. Why not just send out a recorded message?
