Seems a growing percentage of people just want to get laid off. Even in countries with minimal severance, lots of ambivalence.

My people manager (#11 in several years) is in another country and wanted me to rate my coworkers. We have never met this person. In fact, I've only ever met 2 of them. The Town Halls or whatever you want to call them are a total waste of your time and hope. After no pay raises for 8 years, all of us are fed up and totally demotivated. I will retire this year or next year and have no expectation of another pay raise.
In the US here , and WRF means 8 weeks pay or less, SO NO not waiting for WFR! Hoping my manager (people and functional ) get Riff'ed or better yet fired for being useless. Hopeing we become ONE DXC (digital transformation internally) no more L-ES or L-CSC processes that can't be used by the other side.
One DXC efficient , no more out sourcing to vendors , all people who want the company to do good, so we do good.
The worst company EVER in my 36+ years in IT.
Who cares DXC do better out of the staff than the other way, and still they want to skrew more.
"Shifting the focus to workforce efficiency, DXC Technology Company [DXC] earns $159,638 for each employee under its payroll."
People are just lethargic and getting made redundant will give them a 10k rise in another better company. Sometimes a kick is good for you.

We just want out but 'One DXC' isn't playing ball
So many volunteers waiting to be laid off, but so few chances of that occurring. The best option is for p!ssed off customers changing to a different supplier other than DXC which will most likely result in lay offs if there is no opportunity for redeployments.
If in teh next 30 days I don't receive a 5% pay increase for my productivity improvements for the last 12 months then my work output will be 5% slower. Time to get tough on management who just don't give a toss for hardworking employees. #ISeeDXC
Every week I'm waiting, hoping that WFR will be issued but DXC continuesnto disappoint
