Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

This explains it

I was let go in the october rif along with 5 other people on my team. Uhc has posted all of our old jobs in the last two weeks. The job titles have been tweaked and the pay grade was changed down a level. The job duties are identical to what we did so they are looking for someone to do the same things we did but with less pay.

For those who didn't know why we are having layoffs. Posted by @nlr+13lRFt8j.

Are they posting at a lower level to prove that they can't find American workers to do the jobs at those levels so they get approved for more H-1Bs? is this some kind of way to not technically violate a law, but acting unethically to maneuver around it?

They plan to do the same with HEDIS and remaining jobs are going offshore after this season.

This 100% accurate, based on the facts I've seen, namely IDENTICAL job they"rif-ed" me for, has been reposted twice since they said my role was no longer "required." Told me I could reapply at lower pay as my termination was NOT performance related. Shameless.
