Predictions about IBM following their RH acq with executive shuffling seem to be true. O is too entrenched, too stubborn to do that. But they sorely need to for the fresh start

This is a great move. If Oracle wants to turn things around, they need to get SC out and put someone in engineering in charge of the company. I think JL who reports direct to LE would be the absolutely perfect choice.
A friend of mine who works in the financial sector, once told me "when the owner or founder dies, sell, sell, sell. The stock will almost always tank".
You do not want to be holding stock if LE ever moves to a new dimension. Not that he ever will of course.
30-40k staff reduction over the next 2 years.. more top down incompetence.. larry eventually dies and the pieces are sold off
