Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

WFR Dallas legacy EDS

We are required to spend two days a week in the office and I was called into a meeting today with my managers boss and human resources

If you are not billing at least 50% of your time you are being wfr

We have over 200 people in my department and none of them are direct billing. I saw at least 50 people walk out the door with boxes and I heard there's another hundred to go dot-dot-dot except for the managers

"Wait until Feb 6 @1dsp+13fqeNB6 Watch that baby fall off a cliff!" i can't wait ! It will be great after the AMS Survey Results Webcast, saying DXC is hiring and giving raises this year end.

But the raises have a catch, if your a fantastic performer in your area but the area didn't meet its goals you get nothing. AND THAT's BULL CR@P

Wait until Feb 6 @1dsp+13fqeNB6

Watch that baby fall off a cliff!

Expect to see Sal clean house, get all of the bad news out in one go, blame the previous regime for it.

Then when the share prices bumps up by general market up-drift by $5 over the next year he can say that he made it 25% better...

Hmm, have people noticed the stock price is starting to slide again?

Down about 10% over the last 5 days - https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/dxc

middle and bottom "management", as well as all the supposed "architects" and CTOs at DXC are Sonderkommandos.

In reality the managers that mange the managers are staying put while everyone else escapes the clusterf00k known as DXC. Do you see any problems with that?

The are of management is to take as much money and leave none for the workers and they are successful at that.

Except these legacy EDS workers have not produced any billable hours for three years. One guy told me that he has his many billable hours as he had before HP acquired EDS and he said that was less than 5 hours a month. Another guy complained that his hours were cut from 40 to 20 at his client and that's not his fault and it's sales responsibilities to go find him another job not his responsibility to go find another project manager. there are 30 layers in this hierarchy actually 31 if you include the CEO what kind of organization pays you to do nothing and it gives you the opportunity to excel plus has no clients they should all go

managers are the last to go - what goes first are hard working foot soldiers who take with them valuable knowledge and experience that is hard to replace.
