Go on Indeed and search telecommunications and see all the CO, CST and Engineering jobs that want "Centurylink Experience" or if they don't flat spell it out, notice the cities and job description and what test equipment they want you to be familiar with. Yep, exactly what you use. Writing on the wall.

Sorry, legacy qwest, not overstaffed, didn’t have anything to do with prism, still getting laid off with over 20 years. Oh, and now they are hiring here on all the employment web sites.

meh, all these sinking ship people spreading doom & gloom. Please, we've been hearing the same sht for years, CTL aint going anywhere anytime soon. Most of the layoffs are only affecting the over staff @ Qwest, long overdue, especially since Prism was shtcanned.
