Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

ANY WORD ON FIRST ON END OF 1ST QUARTER RIFS?

Usually the month of STI bonuses is also prime time for layoffs

Close, probably 12/31/20 - 43000 employees, then 12/31/21 -40,000 employees. They don’t want to trigger a WARN notice....

12/31/18 - 49,600 employees. 12/31/19 - 46,000. I wager 40,000 employees by end of the year.

Regarding Accenture question, they are here to take your job. So I wouldn't tell them anything. Or even better, give them wrong or incomplete information.

When Accenture consultants appear on your team, what are they doing and why are they there? What are you training them to do?

Nope. A week later. Nothing like motivation by here's your bonus and goodbye. So many folks are actively looking I would not be surpised if voluntary resignations are as high as firings. Nearly evetyone in my office is actively looking. Guess someone else will have to train all the overpaid Accenture folks coming on board.

It should be before STI bonuses paid.
