HCL Performace Reviews

With the 1 year mark approaching of when the rebadging happened I am wondering for those who are going to be staying on with HCL have you heard anything on performance reviews and raises?

In our original HR meeting when we were rebadged they said they would be doing reviews and raises yearly. Of course that was before we realized the majority of people would be laid off so maybe they were just saying that to keep people happy.

Anyone have any insight? And yes this is a serious question.

We got an addendum with our offer letter stating at one year you would be eligible for performance bonus and gave the dollar amount, we'll see what we get, not sure how you get reviewed when my boss doesn't even work in my building, at this rate offshore doing so bad we'll never be let go, ugh!!!

The 10% remaining that are rebadged and not already offshored will eventually also be gone through attrition or when they finally understand the job & eventually offshore it.

Anyone who left with HCL should understand by now that HCL does not care about u - don’t expect a raise. They make money by replacing you with cheap labour. The end.

The powerpoint HCL accidentally emailed out at the start of all the rebadging had said they would be offshoring 90 percent of the jobs (cant remember the exact number). So there are positions they will not be offshoring, which appear to be critical or SME roles that no one else knows how to do so there will be people that are not laid off or at least not anytime soon.

Every 2 weeks more hcl people get let go. I am guessing when 1 year hits you will be all gone
