Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Marketplace

MP is not new to the organization overall but it is to some this year. We were offered 0 support from MHI. NO TRAINING, NO RESOURCES OR REFERENCES, literally left on our own to figure it all out. How can a health plan be successful with no support to aid in the greater good, I.e. the organization as a whole when your a one legged man from the start. Would appreciate any one else’s insight to this topic. Thanks!

Agree with last post. CMO appointment was a token not the real seal

The majority of staff who understand the concepts of managed care and basic differences between product lines have left Molina. MHI was not trained on MP benefits either. In order to expand a product line staff must be knowledgeable and trained. A CMO was appointed but unfortunately this role was merely tacked on to another existing leader already in a MP executive position. We do not have a dedicated CMO to lead our clinical teams, the pharmacy team does not even report to the CMO which is standard in this market. It’s just another attempt to reorganize staff for the bottom line....dollars.

It was definitely a shoddy process. No training no help. No knowledge

It’s not the no experience pay less. It’s nepotism. Most of you are not management so you have no idea what the scale is for these people. I do agree they have no experience, but saying they are doing it to save money is not true. Friends and family running crazy again...

Think about some of the current upper level management- a lot of them have zero experience- but they are friends or relatives

In our office majority of our office besides our VP AC have little or no managed care experience. And they hired them after project Nickel for let's say a dime. No experience cost less. We figured just buying time until buyout or closure.
