Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

HBT Starting it's cuts

People getting called and a script that says "silence" is OK and not to answer any questions or respond. HR just sits on the call to monitor how the manager delivers the message!! Employee is treated like crud, not any different than any other day I guess. The poor employee finally hung up saying "if you're not going to talk I have a job to find" all based on the "HUB" strategy.

HBT CPO left on Friday and replacement on Monday, so how long did she know before it happened? Hub layoffs are super active in ISC. Never mattered before where you sat, were productive and did good work, somehow being in a crowded Atlanta office with free M&Ms makes all the difference.

Large volume RIFs will probably start after January 31,2020 earnings call. SPS since they were all red will get impacted the most and PMT would be next. This is going to be Darius’ big transition year

Expect the biggest changes ever. (ReOrg, RIFs, Spinoffs etc)

Corporate IT HUB RIFs are underway, cutting 20%, for hub strategy. Other Corporate functions are following.... Aero has been executing their hub strategy already.

Dairya$$ Adumbchick couls care less about emplyees....
Another stellat quarter...yet RIFs begin immediately following town hall. I suppose it is coincidence that after the title reorg, statements that jobs wpnt be affected, and the like...that the RIFs occur? Call me crazy but that, sure seems like standard HOS to me.
Thx alot...appreciate the deafening silence from boss...the cold HR lies and reasoning...yadda yadda. On to the next level i guess....sionara Dairya$$

Don't train that person to do your job. Act like you are, do a poor job of it, then coast to the end. Do they judge how well you train your replacement to get your severance?

I was RIF’d this January 2020 and there was no thank you in the scripted speech

They are directed to follow a script. Legal risk if they deviate. My role in USA is moving to India but they did not say that in the RIF meeting

I found out when my manager told me who I had to train to do my job and the replacement person is in India

Well when I got fired after 38 yrs I did not get so much as a "thank you", but a "don't come back here you hear"
and got a police escort..... special people get special treatment.

I was not treated like crud when Honeywell fired me. The HR person said "thanks for your 20+ years of service" as the meat in my s**t sandwich. What goes around comes around eventually.
