Behind the scenes, our favorite company is planning to offshore every available job possible. Meetings have taken place this week to enable this decision. They're making money thanks to little or no claims this year but greed supersedes all else. Forget STI, the economy added 266K jobs in November. Waiting for the ship to sink while the band played on makes ne sense. As I see it, the only mistake is working for AIG in the first place. Find a job on their dime since you probably work from home anyway.

You dont receive STI if you leave on 1/2 (unless due to RIF)
Leave the company on 1/2/20. You still receive your STI and you don't have to worry about a RIF.
I wish federal laws prohibit moving American jobs overseas. Thank God for our excellent economy and a healthy job market. Let's make sure this excellent economy continues for many years to come. Blessings to all.
How do you know there will be layoffs in BH?
They need to pay for the fancy offices in Midtown.....
to Post ID: @12oPdl8m-3jbv, you are asking why morale is down? Wow I can't believe that
Why is moral down?
But before you get axed... keep on answering the Surveys on why morales down?! Lol...
AIG isn't even trying to conceal their true motives. Leave while the going is good.
What? I thought having Indians do our work (btw, we do zero business there) would solve our problems. There will be layoffs this week at BH.
Agree with @12oPd18m-tsg. Nothing new, jobs hve been offshored for the past 3 years. eventually it is going to be a bunch of 24s barking out instructions to offshore teams. Plod through it, get your profile out there, Borrwoing from "Rocky", if I can do it every one can do it
This is not really anything new and is not a secret. I even see teams that are called "Offshore group etc". Just keep plugging away until your pink slip arrives or get going while there are good jobs to be had elsewhere. The sev 1 and 2 keep piling up as these offshore folks drive AIG into the ditch......sad.
