Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Still no action on Kobe code rationalization?

Anyone have their job title changed besides managers in aero? CEO announced it but hasn’t seemed to be any movement.
Maybe their are site closures they will announce at same time to soften the impact?

1sxr: That's one mighty pinky finger. What's the circumference, 80"? Has to be to bench press all those leaders, as scrawny as they may be. Must weigh heavily on the hand. Might consider reducing the dosage a bit, roids can make one do strange things, like swearing a lot. Good luck up north, enjoy the winter and buy that pinky a nice sweater!

Title changes are demotions with pay cuts coming. Industry has a definition of staff versus principal engineers, when Moneywell benchmarks our compensation they will find we are overpaid. It’s insulting they think we will accept their platitudes about a standardized title with no impact to compensation. Everyone with over 20 years here needs to find a new job.

Was this only for supply chain and engineering?
Our titles haven't changed

Management are a bunch of spineless, greedy, c–ksucking moth3fck3rs that hide behind their $$$. Not one of them is brave enough to do the dirty work they're payed for or know how to lead their way out of wet paper bag with a flashlight, a map, a GPS, and a Honeywell APU. They wouldn't know reality or ethics if either one popped up and bit them in the aft end. I could bench press the lot of these hosers with my pinky finger. I dare any of these so called "leaders" to put their money where their mouth is and take of the people in their charge and think about something other than their bank accounts. Oh wait, they're too scared of Wall Street and too enslaved to the almighty dollar to navigate their way out of h3ll... which is exactly where greedy ba$stards end up.

Mine changed from Principal Engineer to Lead Engineer.

At this point I really don't care.

Mine was changed. What they aren't telling you is what else changed such as pay bands. It would appear as though I just got a promotion. The reality is I got my future promotion handed to me without a pay raise.

Supply chain and got title change last week. Co-worker with same job pointed it out to me. I think it happened Friday. What is the purpose? From where I work there was zero communication. Bottom line, Honeywell views employees as an expense and the top corporate guys want fewer of them (especially older ones). Also from my perspective this is what I see.
