Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Experienced reps are leaving...

Most Cores are down YOY. Experienced reps are leaving, new reps don’t have the experience yet and office support has given up supporting sales to a large extent.

Getting harder and harder to find anyone that knows what is going on! Simple customer task or requests are now full blown nightmares...

Why would any sales rep stay when their goalposts are constantly shifted, accounts they've worked hard on are handed over to someone else, they actually lose revenue in a cancellation even if it was just a location closure that they couldn't control and they get a lousy 2-week's notice? This is a perfect example of the people on the ground bringing the money in but someone that plays multiple rounds of golf a week gives himself a big fat bonus and then cries poverty about health care and cost of living increases for people that actually do the labor. Trickle down just doesn't work and Xerox is a shining example of the 1% takers. What works is putting money into the hands of the bottom 80% of workers because they will put that money back into the economy and when the economy is rolling, companies do better and they buy more copiers and printers and services. Putting money into C-level exec pockets means nothing to the economy. They don't create jobs, they k–l them so they can pat themselves on the back and give themselves fat bonuses while they pay $.64 checks in dividends to shareholders telling them how hard they worked chopping Xerox down from 100,000 employees to 40,000 and counting.

HOLD ON....the Cores' office support or Admin has NOT given up supporting Sales! In fact, we feel for ALL the Sales teams across the board because we know you are not going to get the level of support you're use to receiving once all Admin is no longer handled in the US. HCL thinks they can script the support you will be receiving with the Off Shore Admin team because supporting Sales isn't that challenging....right? Also, keep in mind, Admin is losing talented people, too. Granted, HCL has thrown money at us to stay till the end, but some are finding it's not worth it and are moving on. Basically, off shoring Admin was a horrific (or calculated?) decision by Xerox Leadership. Best of luck to you and all of us on the XBS side.

Right on ...Have watched good talented people laid off or outsourced for many
years with no thought as to what or how they could be replaced.Bottom line cut heads , cut cost.

The experience isn’t leaving and the support isn’t avoiding your needs
They’ve been thrown out, transitioned or laid off
There’s a difference
Xerox is exceptionally ill and the prognosis is not good, sadly
