Gulfstream is a joke. The aviation industry is also a joke. If you want a job in aviation, join the military. Gulfstream leadership is like a child that gets an expensive toy for Christmas, but wants to play with the big box it came in instead.

The notion that Gulfstream employees don't have the RIGHT to form a union is laughable. Federal law protects the rights of employees to form a union even in the face of company intimidation. Employees have the right to demand a vote and have the right to form a union that protects them from the company oppression.

A union was formed many, many, moons ago. Once resolved, GAC added a section prohibiting a union in their policy. It goes into details and actions that will be taken. If you haven't been laid off, check it out.

Let me guess. The new vision will be to further punish hard working employees for incompetent leadership. I envision more brainwashed management pushing unrealistic management bonus program objectives on their hard working employees. I envision a reduction in benefits and a greater employee responsibility.

Most importantly, I envision Gulfstream employees realizing that the only way to get a fair deal with the NEW Gulfstream is to form a union that fights for them. A union that makes it very clear that OUR contribution to the success of this company is more important than that of the empty suits.
