She has two key ways of influencing employee retention:

  1. Encourage new skills, provide ample continuing education opportunities; hire from withing wherever possible; give promotion at appropriate time; show employees respect on a regular basis; initiate a proper employee reward and recognition programme; offer remote and flexible working where client not affected; review compensation package to see if anything can be enhanced; or
  1. Stop firing people.

Both wil work.

Hopefully not Finch will lead all aspects of DXC Human Resources and employee engagement globally. Her responsibilities will include talent development and training; * employee retention * and recruitment;
