Not save DXC, not even the Bionix tools can save DXC.
Not save DXC, waiting for them to declare Chapter 11 bankruptcy with old Mikey and the Cheif Steak Cutter walking the plank to parachute into retirement whilst the company lurches closer to sink into oblivion.
Not save (due to old mikey %^^%%^ up the company) but breaking up and selling up the company.
Not save.
Bigger question: is DXC worth saving? We all know how the company was formed: a head-on crash between HPE and CSC. After almost two years, the results have been somewhat catastrophic. IS it time to pull the plug on this failed experiment?
Not save DXC, sell it off YES
Not save DXC.
In fact nothing can save DXC, not even Sal, not even Lorrie, not even the Chief Steak Cutter.
DXC Technology is suffering from a systemic strategy failure, other organisations have been dealing with these issues for a decade.
I have sold and expect the global team to be broken into regional entities.
Far too early to call, you have to give 2 quarters at least - before any changes (in operation or sentiment) is felt. It would be at least 18 months before we see any positive numbers... So too early my friend!
I am still baffled by the incompetence of the 'old Mike' . Many shortcomings have been hidden behind the cost cutting because it is a recognised tool and gets a CEO a 20% rating - but even I could wield such a blunt tool! Corporate fraud is serious, i think the guy did not have a 'scooby' about growing the business, but seems to have mastered his sums growing his own income.
So what I expect from 'new Mike' is more cuts plus X. It is the X factor that will be apparent to all very quickly - there are no secrets where the market is going - its not a 'ZEN buddest' or 'Dark Arts' play, so let's see what the man does.
