Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Wasn't our CDO/CTO touted as a genius?

Naresh Shanker has been on board for almost one year and what's been accomplished from a tech perspective? Sure, the payroll has been slashed, but there's been not even a hint of technical transformation. XDX can't even design simple solutions to organize the service function. Wipro and HCL are wrecking the business, we're spending countless $$$ on consultants (Nathanson, etc.) and to what end? Still no closer to the tech powerhouse we're supposed to be becoming (again). And all while people lose their jobs to foreigners, sales decline and Xerox IT struggles to keep the environment running, Naresh pockets big money in more Xerox restricted stock: https://sec.report/Document/0001127602-19-017616. Yep, he's the one to lead us to the technology promised land!

Naresh Shanker is a well known joke in Palo Alto and a pariah in NYS. Post is accurate- only cutting has been accomplished, nothing transformational. Cannot wait until 2021 or is it building 2121 NC? Amazing how one can write a bio for themselves and get traction, but that’s the market news biz.

Are you talking about the IT genius who was sitting on the couch unemployed when an offer to join his buddies at Xerox came along? Seems these guys can only get jobs when they employ each other.

When an executive says “your job Is now in another state and you are not eligible to apply” and then “no remote work will be tolerated”...when that executive remains in California— well make up your own ending.

Maybe they should pay Naresh in the worth of all that’s left of the technology Xerox actually owns that’s useful
One share of Xerox stock should do it and get it from Steve “powerhouse” B

If you research his history, he isnt a genius at all. He split a failing company into two that aren’t doing so well. He hasn’t been much of an IT leader or visionary. That was Steve B, but he needs to climb as well and we can’t have two CIOs. Thus Naresh. Once the 250 IT NEW staff are hired in Raleigh, and the 210 EXISTING staff are let go, what’s happening with Wipro and HCL will pale in comparison and Naresh will claim some kind of victory and move on.

Jury is still out I guess, but it would not be the first case of a genius who couldn't lead/ develop products to market, to save their lives here.

I would disagree, docushare is a bad joke.
Xeros has some patents but little else in the way of IP to sell, monetizing these will not be easy.
I wish all on this sinking ship well.

The only thing we have to sell, as a Tech PowerHouse, is DocuShare.
