I was able to open that link but see nothing for 294.3. I searched the whole document.
www.xerox.com/downloads/dl/world/e/ethics_Code_of_Conduct_English.pdf
Page 17. Valuing our Employees
I found it but couldn’t open. Something about “file name doesn’t match source “. Funny, I can open all the other 200’s
No. Its under Our Company, Ethics and policies, Policies link at top, then link for Xerox hr policies links to docushare in middle of the page.
I'll check again but I think HR policies in general appear under the RESOURCES menu. You need the link that goes to the 200 series on Docushare.
Where did you find HR 204.3? I tried on The Hub but it did not come up.
Umm - Original poster plus check again. I just checked yesterday and it's still the May 19 version. I've heard the rumors about losing the severance if you turn down a job period, without the 50 mile consideration , but it hasn't changed. Yet. It could change any day and I wouldn't bet against it though.
It's here it seems. HCL cuts have begun. Soon many more will join them. It's over folks.
Fingers crossed some management or execs get cut. I hope I'm around long enough to see that happen. The same people who have ignored this HCL "problem" and have acted like everything's the same and treated the rebadged like second-class citizens.
To Infs- It’s coming means massive layoffs!
Without publishing the entire thing, can one provide extract of the most important changes?
From what is posted here, I can't tell what "it's coming" means.
@1bxp
Good advice
Don’t use a work computer and don’t use anything that is “Xeaned” in or connected to a work VPN
Personal devices are best
Cell phone for me with no way for “work” to trace it back unless they own my data plan, and they don’t.
If Xerox can find my location it’s only from the ISP or this site and that’s highly, highly, unlikely. Nobody wants that kind of trouble.
For your own good, dont post internal docs. They are watching traffic to this site because that has happened in the past.
So a policy was introduced around the same time as a new Board that says they can toss people out of a window based on their greed not making them the crime money they wanted in time so they get to decide who they toss first?
Where do I get to play this game?
I want in
Or was this the game all along and only now is there a group willing to do the tossing?
I’m not shocked nor surprised at any of it actually.
Disgusted though.
But not surprised
Sadly
It's coming...
From a document updated half a year ago?
Essentially it's a new policy in effect to lay people off to offset loss of revenue. We got an action form to get what pertinent paperwork is needed to reduce "excess staff". This is pending Q3 financials being at or above target.
Management will go too. As with the reduction, the 15 to 1 metric will be off kilter.
Get your interview suit prepared and resume polished. It's coming, as the rough data I have is we are way below plan.
Probably not a good idea to post internal-only documents out here.
There's enough weasel clauses in there that will really tick me off if it goes down that way though. Bad enough severance was capped, but playing the "subsidiary" game to screw us out of that pittance is infuriating .
Can you post the statement that is 204.3?
Seeing I was put out to pasture to HCL, I have no access to the policies now but would love to see what it says
