Heard management has stop Watches at jls. Any truth to that and what's the reason?

The stop watches are for them to see who can do the fastest work. If Juniata stays the course and shows they can build faster and do the work faster than other shops then the work comes here. If not it’s gone. We had an injury a few days ago, shoulder injury I believe a guy trying to work faster and harder. Now he’s injured. But he will have a great case because less man power and more work equals nice lawsuit pay out. That’s union precision railroading. Sew the f— outa the company when ever you can !!! Just make sure you get a Pittsburgh or philly lawyer!!! But in the mean time ready... set.... start the stop watch !!!!

They already know how long these things take. The stopwatches are for show. The guys carrying them hate it as much as you, trust me.
Yes, it's true. They are timing us how long it takes to certain jobs. Unclear the real reason behind it.

It will never work. To many variables with wether and stuff like that.
100% true. They want to have a standard “time” system wide when it comes to working on locomotives, or anything for that matter. That way when one shop/shift/person isn’t getting the work done in the average time they can ask why why why and harass them.
