Ohio is ruthless also. They expect numbers and no work to meet. We are sitting and waiting on work. I can't imagine we won't be hit again.

Anyone know if layoffs will be company-wide this time, or just in specific markets? HCS in OH is now down to bare bones over in HCS, don’t see how we could stand to lose more. AC said in last Town Hall that we were done in Ohio for foreseeable future....but then again she has a history of “fibbing” regarding layoffs. From what I understand, It’s Princess P, JZ’s right-hand woman, who is running the show in regards to making cuts everywhere....heard she is ruthless, and expects everyone to work fingers to bone. I just don’t see how Ohio can get this RFP.

Lots of substance and another reason to look fondly on the Molinas after reading the most recent post. They are legends.

Folks it does appear that some improvements have been happening if you look at the numbers. With the new membership one would think no downsizing.

Actually the person was correct. What’s the difference in a couple of weeks when people were saying it was fake news???

Lots of kool aid being served up over there at the mothership. We got fruit punch, grape, passion fruit...oh yeah it’s good!

People we work in the business of ????? Thats right...people. a large portion of our business is driven by factors such as the economy, jobless claims, Trumps tweets, etc. Ohio is not losing money for Molina. Our revenue has declined because of declining membership. Follow the stock market more than one day and research. The Healthcare sector is taking a hit right now. Guess what there is always a sector that is on Deck ready to step up to the plate next. For a while it was technology, then biotechnology, realestate, then came things like consumer goods and financial institutions that were on the chopping block. I can tell you now that with the recent federal rate cuts , we are absolutely going back into a recession. Membership will begin to climb again as people are forced out of work due to a c-appy economy and will be forced to go back on plans like Molina, Caresource, etc.

Look at recent earnings reported 7/30/19. You know Ohio is one of only four plans that in six months (ending 6/30/19) brought into the company over 1 billion dollars in medicare/medicaid revenue premium? 1.22 to be exact...2018 ending 6/30 it was 1.086 billion for six months.

Marketplace revenues (six months) for Ohio ending 6/30/19 - 805.96 million
Same time frame ending 6/30/18 - $458.58 million...sure seems like we are making money. Simplest form put - Molina is outsourcing the sh– outta jobs and researching costs associated with outsourcing and whether it would make financial sense to do and then actually completing the task of outsourcing a department are astronomical - which ultimately takes money from our profits and is becomes a huge debt to the company. Increasing debts - that is the real reason for losing money - not the sh–ty #1 corporate approved excuse of "declining membership".

There is no substance and little value in your fake news beyond creating fear in the people who use this board. Please stop.
