Does anyone know how the few remaining Southern California Kmart stores are performing? I thought Redlands did well and it's now closing. Of course, the real estate has likely been sold as it was a company owned property. But, with so few stores remaining, I wonder how sales are at the others. I've heard Big Bear Lake is a top producing store likely due to the fact there is no competition around for miles.
The only remaining stores I know of in the region are Big Bear Lake, Riverside (Jurupa Valley), Costa Mesa, Long Beach, Temple City, North Hollywood, West Covina, Tehachapi, Ramona, Camarillo, Atascadero, & Santa Paula. Twelve stores in such a large and populous region is really insignificant as compared to Target and Walmart. So sad as Kmart had such a large showing years ago.
