Anyone willing to share information about the planned reduction in management? Is it still just being considered or already planned? I kind of think they are targeting the wrong layer for cost reduction. How about targeting all the band 4's that contribute zero to delivered products.

Ouch!
you should wear green on Tuesday, that should keep you anonymous :)
None of your comments on this website are anonymous. It is obvious who writes it and the Corporate BOT-shills writing it from India and managing online repute.
There are two plans. One is to demote individual contributor band 4's to band 3's, reducing the MIP bonus dollars. The other is to prepare for the coming recession (the one that Wall Street has been saying for the past 2 years is imminent). That one will cut 10% equivalent of the workforce, based on salaries for support personnel (non-production). If you are waiting for a package, this may be your chance.
Not all band 4 getting demoted. theyd have a hard time expecting more from those folks since theyd be working to band 3 standards, expectations.
Yes, I have heard of this. Its project RIM job.
Band 4's are management positions so if they are offering a RIM job to B4's they are reducing management
