Heard from a reliable source this morning that SCX and Enola and Conway are closing Aug 5. Lots of work shifting south to Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Birmingham.

Reliable source huh? Today is the 7th, all those closed shops are still working. All you nimrods on here like to think you know somebody in the know, you don't. You are all just rank and file who know absolutely nothing. Its the 7th and counting cool guy................

it’s true the North is shutting down. everyone is moving South. all major companies will be shut down end of August. most if not all cities will be leveled to the ground. all i preparation for the new green deal. it’s true a guy from that region heard it from his sister brother in law who knows a guy that was on a track walking by a crew doing track work and he overheard them receiving instructions to rip all the track out to make way for the southbound.
That may be true but from a Union stand point as long as it doesn't cause a layoff the company has the Union's ok to do move work around in the company's best interest. Attend local Union meetings and support your Union's we'll get through these growing pains.
