Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Delivery is laying off people because they’re outsourcing the delivery function directly to the vendors?

Delivery is laying off people because they’re outsourcing the delivery function directly to the vendors. DXC is just the middleman and all of this the vendor makes money by pushing more product in the DXC doesn’t have to pay employees a friggin dime. Soon the vendors will figure out that they don’t need the company and do it all on their own

It's not just Mphasis, it's directly or in-directly with our vendors

Mphasis (pronounced M-farce-is) is a joke and worse than DXC. Clearly someone has their nose in the trough.

Yes and no. While the outsourcing is happening across delivery, reductions are also targeting external vendors like Mphasis, excis, proservia and all others.

In my delivery org (AMS), all of the staff except for maybe 4 where transferred to Mphasis, an Indian contractor firm and then those people did the same job on the same accounts as before, just as Mphasis people instead of DXC people. I hear they are very unhappy. Luckily I left before that happened for a job paying more money and having better conditions at an employer who values me.

No. Delivery was cutting heads just to hit certain numbers in prep for sale. Sale of DXC to HCZl fell thru
