Spain is pretty okay, as the big delivery center has a fairly low cost per FTE due to the subsidies coming in from Northern Spain.

A lot of it then depends on your location. Central Europe is going to take an axe to ex-csc (as it has done over the past few quarters) while L-ES is going to be relatively okay.

France is the other way around and there's pretty much a complete exit from the UK and Ireland anyway.

Not sure about Latvia and Bulgaria is being shored up and the walls are coming down.

Delivery is laying off people because they’re outsourcing the delivery function directly to the vendors. DXC is just the middleman and all of this the vendor makes money by pushing more product in the DXC doesn’t have to pay employees a friggin dime. Soon the vendors will figure out that they don’t need the company and do it all on their own

I would like to comment to the reductions planned in France - former HPE? with good social plan?

Don't bet your horses on it. Our country also had a good social plan, but DXC is trying to find ways to avoid high restructuring costs, so they fire people on performance (even if they have no proof of it)

I know several countries in EU where people are fired illegally, and so DXC is having a lot of ex-employees going to court. DXC will always try to postpone the final judgement.

Don't bet on it that they will do it the clean -illegal way, like HP did.

I have awareness of a $2m project on a restricted account which requires specific skillsets. However the issue is that nobody in the market willingly wants to join DXC, which means that the sales folks have sold a dead donkey to the client. Oh by the pay the sales folks also provided written guarantees that the project will be delivered on time and on budget.

ROFLMAO as the client has DXC over a barrel.

Naïve question: but, if you are AR RISK in ‘Delivery’ (which Iam sure is true) what is DXC actually selling these days? Or is that the low amount of sales doesn’t justify the large number of people ready to deliver it?

Hmm. This isn’t going to end well.

In France, people from legacy HPE have been hosted into a dedicated company. In September, the new WFR plan, will fire 20% of the workforce. Lucky, people are still taking benefit of the HPE plan, and the package is interesting compared to many other countries.
But legacy CSC management is still continuing to eradicate any people from legacy HPE.

Are you asking me where the spreadsheet comes with the schedule of every wave

There's a group called lwr the labor war room

They put out a spreadsheet with the layoffs by week and it goes on for years

Each department has a layoff four times a year

My group is week 8

So all is gibberish about hearing about layoffs and rumors is all gibberish

There are 5000 layoffs per quarter

Last quarter they were 3900 short 1100

So next quarter there will be five thousand plus the

Plus another 2500 for the drop in the stock price so expect 8500 layoffs next quarter

I bought a new house in Palm Beach so now I have to come over and visit me I'll take you to the Palm Beach golf club and show you Mar a Lago

I personally saw the spreadsheet of waves that goes out free 2020

there are layoffs scheduled every week

And after 2020 there will still be layoffs every week

I'm in the USA and our layoffs are the 8th week of the quarter in my group

My house in Palm Beach and my second house in Palm Beach was not hit by the hurricane

There still are six more weeks of warm weather

Come to my house Saturday morning and I will take you golfing and I will drive you past President Trump's Mar-A-Lago
