With these looming layoffs that Aerospace is famous for, where are you looking for a stable job?

Castle Boutique. As a frequent recipient of Honeywell’s anal reaming, I feel the skills acquired via this OJT experience will serve me well.
Retirement here I come!
If I leave I will retire. It might be a year earlier than I planned, but if they offer a package I will bite.
In the Anniston area it is already well known what is happening. It has been for months. Local employers are already taking in Honeywell employees and are glad to have them.
Don't wait too late guys. The 401K match is a drop in the bucket when you are able to get a MUCH better healthcare plan with a more stable job. You can not afford to wait. There is no golden parachute at the end of this story. Your pride and commitment is not noticed or valued. Pride can be foolish. You are just putting yourself and your family in a more difficult position down the road. Make your own parachute and get out now.
Ditto.
Just waiting for the 401K match.

I definitely wouldn’t hire Honeywell management unless they had a solid explanation on how they won’t bring the toxic practices to the new place.
Get out before employers stop hiring the flood of Honeywell resumes they are receiving. I’ve experienced that fact first hand during an interview.
Anything is better then Honeyhell!
I am working hard to get a GS job at the airbase close to me. Pension is much better. Hiring process is really long though.
If you're willing to relocate to Tucson, Raytheon was hiring and a fair number of ex-Honeywell people are down there. As a bonus, they do mostly defense work that can't be sent offshore.
Walmart, McDonalds, Burger King...... I've heard they treat their employees better.
