Then he hangs onto 2 OpenWorld keynotes, topics tbd to whatever he can remember enough to get through. Maybe show pics of his pretty catamarans and handsome young sailors. They are cloud customers. Probably free credits go there.
Restructuring btw means eliminating people.

This seems a bit exaggeration. Haven't heard of 'thousands'. No it is not exodus or something similar. TheLayoff figures would be around 5000. This is still a very miniscule percentage if you take into account the total number of global head-count at present. This level of churning is good for any organization and for employees too.Please don't create unnecessary panic. Things are not that bad.
These types of posts never mean anything. Could be they are trying to discredit the board, or could be they are trying to scare people.
Most likely things will continue for the next year with a little bit here and there. Oracle actually needs massive cuts, but I don't think those will happen until the cash is gone. Another year of stock buybacks should take care of that. I would expect major cuts a year from now or so.

Haven't heard of "thousands". Haven't gotten any solid numbers. Just heard of percentages for certain business and we don't know if it applies to the whole of the business or just some parts.

It's a sh–ty company. If you get a package, be glad to take it and get out of Oracle. There are good places to work on the outside.
