Tooth ache.
Wonder why it was cancelled. Did something really suddenly come up, or did they not get some sort of action done before hand that he was planning on putting a positive spin onto?
I suppose there really could have been something like a family matter that had to be attended to, but these days I'm pretty cynical and always look for the "rest of the story".

Why would anyone even attend one of these meetings unless it was mandatory? Nothing honest, reliable or valuable being relayed.

"We are postponing the Webster town hall due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, and we will reschedule the town hall at the earliest time possible."
They will be communicating .... get ready for this....nothing!

Mine had H-Z plus a bunch of random others. Random check showed folks from several buildings, and several groups. My guess is another "see the vision" (vaporware) speech about expanding manufacturing in Webster, and a dose of "we'll have more partnerships with other companies".
More HCL rebadging next week?

The meeting notice I got has a few random people plus a bunch that are in alphabetical order ending at H. So I think they probably sent multiple notices.
In the past if you weren’t invited to a meeting it was due to your not being directly affected by the news being delivered. With current management, nothing they do has any logic.
The town hall on the 13th isn't a campus wide event. Only certain people were on the meeting notice.
Are there groups that were not invited? If so, what would that mean?
To add speculation based on SPQ's post, ever since JV and Steve B have been in place, it seems each quarterly analyst earnings call has mentioned the supply chain. The latest earnings call, July 30th:
"One other key component of Project Own It is rationalizing our supply chain. Our supply chain operations have become more efficient and inventory levels have improved, but there's more work we can do here."
On LinkedIn, Xerox Webster job postings refer to Affiliated Computer Services Solutions S.A.S. France as the offering entity, instead of XC, this week. A hint or a bug?
I suspect given the sudden notice and a Friday, that there will be an announcement mid afternoon that Thursday. What it is, I have no clue. At least, none backed by any fact or reason. Just conjecture and gut feeling.
It hasn’t had time to simmer yet but after the few hours it was out I heard nothing from my grapevine.
