Layoffs in Ohio Happening Now!!

That’s right folks, the intel was partially true! More like beginning of September than August, but we are having massive surprise layoffs in Ohio as we speak! Healthcare Sefvices, including case management, and it is happening by phone! Literally put a ton of people on an urgent WebEx with HR, and everyone is laid off!!

Its ok folks bc our payday is coming from a buddy of a family friend in DC who happens to know a very very close family friend who served in DC for a bit you could say (that my family knows and I will not name) - we will see what Jay Clayton and crew have to say about Molinas practices with shareholders and directional practices

Sorry about this. My brother and I know the feeling. Hopefully JZ has some pocket change to spare on severance.

Scary ... Been here almost three years. Layoffs at the end of year one and at the end of year three. Hard to be dedicated when you fear for the livelihood of your family.

Ugh! I didn’t get laid off WTF? I feel like my department will be the last ones standing. I’m so ready for my unemployment! For those laid off consider it a blessing. I literally cannot wait until I’m outta here.

During project nickel you knew if you were being let go if you had a last minute meeting titled “staff update” or something like that.

Got let go today. I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because he removed me from such a toxic, evil place to work. We have been lied to by leadership for months. This company does not care about anything but money

The problem is a lot of the layoffs happened in case management, they have been MASSIVELY overwhelming the department for months in prep for RFP. Like caseload sizes have more than doubled and everyone is behind, audit scores are low and their response is to lay off hard workers?

The town hall invite was not sent to everyone. Instead of using the normal DL:MHO All list there are new lists for individual areas of Columbus, Remote, Cincinnati and Indepence. This lists end in _Con

Nothing will come from Town Hall. Will be a lot on non-answers. AC directly avoided answering question about Layoffs at last Town Hall. Just dust off resume’s, folks. Because there is no rhyme or reason behind layoffs. There is one CM in particular who is toxic and hated by all staff, worst attendance in history. They are still here. No one is safe. Either ride this ship till it sinks, then get a new job, or just go get one now. That is really all there is.

Really? Nothing on WARN act. Are they violating WARN Act right now? How does that get reported? Where does one go to report them for violating it?
