They have ALWAYS laid off and they will continue to lay off as long as they’re in business.
They plan on taking 15 management positions from JLS. And another 15 percent of machinist and 15 percent electricians. Thats all for Altoona shops. Will be just below 600 by 2021.
11 were laid off at Bellevue last week. Not 25
As soon as everybody figures out that if you don't do what the company wants, they'll find somebody who will, you'll all be better off. They are gonna make cuts, and change the way you do your jobs. Deal with it, they don't owe you a thing. One day at a time, because you won't know until it happens.
I heard today 25 Carmen laid off at Bellevue. Does anyone know if this is true?
I have learned don’t believe anything you read on this post until it actually happens . People need to learn to live one day at a time . Scx supposedly has been closing every month for the last 6 months . Believe it when you see it only . It will only give you an ulcer .

Im a machinist at JLS, our union guy said 200 gone by the end of next week. The bigwigs want to get rid of components and maintenance , not good.
