I was told that I was to be laid off 14 months ago as part of the of the spinoffs but am, unfortunately, still at Honeywell waiting to be part of remaining stranded costs to be eliminated. PLEASE HELP ME!
We? Hum.... It’s the unexpecting that are hurt the most. Those that saw what was going on expected it and it came as a relief. Those that believed that they were lucky enough to have survived and were willing to keep charging forward; they are the ones who got crushed when let go. When you work for a company the years pass by - you endure the ups and downs in order to provide for your family. In the end you imagine that it will all work out for the best. But alas it doesn’t always end up that way. Take what you have experienced and start a new chapter. The road will not be smooth but it will define who you are.
Who cares? Move on as we have.
+1000 company wide, year over year since 2001. We were 180,000 at the merger in 2000. It will continue until there are about 15 employees. I dare you to guess who they are!
