Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

How long does it take to receive severance?

And is it paid all at once?

I should add that my severance was based on my time with the company, so your mileage may vary – four months seems to be the max

Your RIF communication explains the timeline. If you're a US employee, you get your salary during your two-month WARN period, and then you get four months' severance after you sign the paperwork and send it back, when those two months are up. Once Oracle receives the signed paperwork, it takes a couple of weeks to get the severance pay as a lump sum, minus taxes, etc. This is how it played out for me. Good luck!
