You are no better than the rest of us!

It’s difficult as an Ambassador at SeaWorld that has experienced the pile on after every layoff to watch the entitled Salaried and Corporate employees. We are kept in the dark, received a minimal raise, losing vacation time, and fear for our jobs... — read more

Salaried Bonuses?

Heard some rumbles that salaried are getting a bonus? Thought SW was in trouble financially and that's why we laid off 100+ people. Nothing coming for the hourly workers actually working their butts off, instead of the salaried team who is doing... — read more

Wait until all the animals are gone

The long term company policy is to remove animals and be the Disney South. The fact that they can't do anything because of the California Coastal Commission make little $$$ value so their master plan is set. Wait until the last polar bear is shipped... — read more

Q3 is in the books

My thoughts are unless we hit it out of the park, big changes are on the horizon. Didn't seem like we were that busy this year in Orlando.

Losing earned vacation

Has anyone been reporting the new plan to the media? I can’t believe that something we earned and we’re given at time of hire can just be taken legally or ethically Report the story to your local news desk and let them do some digging

Free Gas - SeaWorld

San Diego employees were allowed to get free gas today from the parks gas pump due to a maintenance issue. But really? Couldn't the VP of Finance let the rest of us minimum wage employees get the gas instead of her getting in there to?

Working for cowards.

Does anyone here remember what an ECM was? How about an ACM? For you newcomers, they'd usually happen an hour, or so, before the park opened. They would show us videos of new commercials and tell us how well the park was doing. We'd even have a... — read more

What Seaworld needs in a new CEO

A good read altogether, but this is my favorite part: As SeaWorld continues to thrive in the future, though, it cannot forget the fact that a large portion of its visitors are attracted to its animals. Future attractions will need to incorporate... — read more

Universal comments

Even the chairman/CEO of Universal, Tom Williams, doesn’t think much of us. Here’s an excerpt from a recent interview he did, before Gus resigned. Disney and cruise lines are the biggest competition. Williams doesn’t think that the other big name... — read more

We support SeaWorld Employee Rights

I have shown this board to by counter parts the management of the mouse. They question anyone who is or was a leader in SeaWorld. Your company has a poor reputation for having poor and unskilled management. We support you! Union!

Who thinks this is a good idea?

How many people here think the whole "adding rides" strategy is a good idea? I personally think it can't hurt, but the money that'll be invested in it could be used for better purposes. There are plenty of better ways to get SeaWorld back on its... — read more
