im pretty sure the layoffs for this month are not over. i saw HR people running around and booking rooms to meet... once the AP and ZA contracts are over, theyll get the hell out of here, we are not low cost anymore.

They need the corporate people to do the dirty work of getting rid of everyone else. Once those cuts are done, HR and others will be next.

In Poland several months worth of salary for employees with permanent contracts. The motivation for this is to sign mutual agreements and to avoid the legal ramifications of group layoffs.

Is it true that Zonamerica/Aguada offices contracts end this year? I haven't heard of any renewals yet.

Lead and below get 1 week pay for every 1 full year. Supervisor and above get 2 weeks pay for every 1 full year.

May be Amadeus is going to grab AA/US Airways future reservation system from Sabre. Could that be the reason for layoffs now at Sabre? Did they already know that they're NOT going to get the biggest airline in the world's business anymore?

I think severance is bi-weekly. must sign 'Agreement and General Release" to get it. We haven't received that yet.

If you are a Full Time Employee in US - don't quit! Wait until you are laid off so you can get unemployment. You won't have to wait long with how it's been going.
