So has anyone that put in for VR in the UK yet heard whether they've got it?
Put expression of interest in almost straightaway. Original Email said they'd start informing people from June 3rd onwards, but so far nothing.

There’s talk of compulsory redundancies starting again in the UK very soon
Another day, no letter. I want as much gardening leave as possible.
That would make sense. I wonder why they said offers would be sent from the 3rd June though?
Still heard nothing, maybe we might hear towards the end of the week as the closing date is today
Any success stories today?
We live in hope @MikeT
This is happening to the people who are supporting large Cat A deals also. Several team members got the same emails with their RTAs all cancelled. Some of us are flying out Sunday for face to face client negotiations meetings. How do you close business when you can't travel to your client? And it seems somewhat random...

I do not think anyone has heard yet @3zev
So true
The longer you wait, the worse your CV will look which will make it harder to get a decent job
I couldn’t wait for VR so I got myself a new job and will be off later in the month. The longer you wait, the worse your CV will look which will make it harder to get a decent job. There aren’t many people who will be able to retire once they have VR - most people will need another job. The package isn’t life changing in most cases so if you don’t like working at DXC, be proactive, take control and get yourself a new job!
Could anyone tell me what the redundancy terms are? Is it the bare minimum thats legal in the UK plus a months salary, or do DXC have something else?
I have worked for CSC/DXC 3 years now, but have no idea what the statutory is before the extra 1 month...
You can leave anytime you want. Just send an email to your manager and say you quit. Other than that shut up and DO The Job your paid for.
HR can't cope with the number of people who have applied and still 1 more day left for applications.
Has a single person heard yet?
My boss is a mo--n with no sense.
I'm based down South and have heard nothing.
Where is everyone else based. I'm in Newcastle.
HR are all doing the gardening too.
While in limbo, I'm doing the gardening. No point starting anything new as we could be gone any day now. Sure they can get used to life without me.
hurry up HR this is eating into my potential garden leave.
I bet HR have all left so there is nobody to send out the offers
Sick of waiting!!!!!!!!!
Same, nothing heard either
Nothing yet, applied on the day of getting the email.
Has anyone heard anything today yet?
This!
I wouldn't be surprised if @ZrAF27O-2efd really works for HR, but if so, they should have the courtesy to say so, even if they choose to stay anonymous.
Sure, we all expect that DXC management read these posts, and that's as it should be. These pages contain a global perspective of what DXC employees really think of the company, so management should be ashamed of the fact that people feel the need to post negatively via an external site.
Equally, the fact so many former employees still read these pages and comment on events, shows the deep feeling of concern they have for their colleagues still suffering at the hands of DXC.
What a shambles...

If this is really HR, why in the h3ll are they here? Either someone loves to impersonate the corporation to get some reaction or DXC is gauging the reaction on the internet of their company. Don't worry DXC not many people likes you, customer or employee.
HR are in da house...
Redundancy offers are being calculated and sent out at the moment. HR is working hard to process the demand so please be patient.
Probably taking time whilst they work out how they wil run a company with just 2 people left.
"A few others I know of put EOI in at the beginning and they've heard nothing yet."
Be careful people - its not difficult to get sacked for "Gross Misconduct" if it can be proven that what you say is damaging and what you say can be traced back to you.
In this case, its harmless but consider that the person who posted this phrase is either the person who put "EOI" in the header (most likely) or a known colleague.
keep being anonymous peeps
Its all about timing.
Keep growing the retirement pot. If you can start your pension now, you'd be a fool NOT to go.
After all, take cash on offer, get another job and drip feed the cash into another pension.
Whatever your age, just keep working and say "thank you" to Mikey for boosting your pension pot.
Oh, and another thing after you leave, transfer the money out of the DXC pension AS FAST AS YOU CAN BEFORE IT COLLAPSES
I left UK CSC after pay off.. still money in bank..better job more pay and a bonus that actually gets paid.
The dross stay..good people leave...
Sham on what used to be a good company..
As an employee of DXC my guess is that they never had any intention of actually doing this they just wanted a “list”!
The number of replies to this post just shows how many UK readers to there are to "The Layoff".
DXC has cut so many posts in the US, and now their focus is in EMEA. Even the Indians are feeling the pain!
This company is doomed (f*cd) - if you've not applied for VR, then do yourself a favour and do so, before they change it to CR.
At the moment they are asking for people who are interested in taking redundancy, they are offering a month's wage on top of your redundancy terms as an incentive
Why are people requesting WFR? What do you get?
