To @ZhnlVfJ-7rvy, I consider G&A a separate area and recons happening just after the denial in the department where the decision was rendered. The next step after the recon would then be an appeal.

The only thing that might be the same is the department the doctors are in doing the reviews. Hope that makes sense.

Think it's starting to happen. Managers are getting notifications (scripted responses to questions.)

Would reconsideration be considered as part of G&A?

In response to @ZhnlVfJ-6wbo - thank you for this. Unfortunately, even Vitals might not be taken seriously. My team had a meeting with management, who called us "paranoid" when we mentioned concerns about layoffs on Vitals. They told us what kind of comments we can and cannot leave on Vitals. It's crazy.

It seems dumb, but everyone should report negatively on Anthem vitals if they're feeling that way. People really are watching that amazingly.

1st Thursday in June ? Hmmmm, maybe I'll take a PTO day, or better yet call in sick.

I agree also that Tom Miller is to blamed for this stupid “Workplace Strategy” c-ap. Not sure if he also initiated this Agile approach which I also think is waste of time and resources. Does anybody know where this Tim Miller a--hole is now ?

I feel a little sorry for those who are still there, wondering who will be next.

We all have Tom Miller to thank. He started the whole “bring everyone back to offices- especially Atlanta,” and oh no it’s not because HE was in Atlanta. Then what happens? The dude LEAVES Anthem and they are stuck with figuring out how to make his happy plan happen. Backing out wasn’t an option because they already invested in the building and promised Atlanta all these new jobs were coming.

Someone posted this about 14 days ago in another thread: Someone asked who was next for RIFs: "Reporting and Analytics, Grievances and Appeals, Claims and Performance Enhancement in June."

The rumor was 1k employees laid off in July. Is this the same one? Or will there be an additional lay off in July?

The waiting is really getting excruciating ... if anybody knows, can we at least know what departments are affected ...
