That sounds about right. I was told last week that people applying for a job here are turning it down because the pay is $20K less than their worst other job offer elsewhere.
@ewh, Funny I was thinking they were the dollar store, Walmart would be a major step up. Remember Allied Signal took the Honeywell name after the buyout because Allied had a pretty bad reputation with customers, it took them some time but they have torn the Honeywell name down to that level.
Funny how the official government form tells a very different story that Glassdoor and pay scale. Pretty clear that companies are sandbagging those sites with fake reviews
Can’t wait for my ticket to work with the smarter team at Raytheon. If they have that many PhDs that is definitely where I want to work. Tucson is nicer than Phoenix.
Apples and oranges. 2/3 of all Raytheon employees are Advanced Degree Engineers. Much less production support / labor / lower pay jobs.
Hey, the ALT has worked very hard to earn the nickname "The Wal-Mart of the aerospace industry"!!
Now I understand why the word GRMN comes up so often among the ALT.
One of these is different than the others ...
Thanks for pointing this out.
It is now officially better to work for GE than Honeywell. OMG.
Hey JE -- want to fix your little "happiness meter" -- emulate the right company.
