No wonder raises have been non existent and they have cut back on all the employees benefits. Very greedy and over paid Management with underpaid non management workers. Their salaries along with the STI, Long Term Incentives and additional stock is really disgusting and so unfair to those who are just trying to make ends meet. Greed

I think @Z6JODhA-mefx you are right. The shareholders could care less about the employees at AIG. They are greedy too. It will all come back to them. It's just outrageous that they would give this kind of salary and all the bonus and benefits that are unheard of to BD. Unbelieveable. I hope it comes back to bite the shareholders. Maybe the shareholders are starting to realize what the environment is like for the employees at AIG. BD, Senior Management and Exec's are definitely overpaid. Management in general is overpaid while the employees doing the work are just trying to make ends meet. Lack of raises or very minimal raises have been given. Managers always have a reason why they aren't allowed to give raises. STI stays the same even if you were given a raise. They never reevaluate that. But there is always plenty of money for all levels of Management and they aren't held accountable. It's just greed. Everyone in the Insurance Industry is starting to realize how hard AIG employees work with little rewards for their work. Employees are continually pushed to the limit and are continually taking on new tasks and work. It's also a joke the past Employee Surveys that they have done. They really don't want it known what it's like to be an employee here
Nobody explained what diversity is or how they will make it happen...seems they are talking about offshoring overseas to a few countries in APAC...had they ever thought about treating the existing diverse groups fairly instead of reinventing the wheel...another way for the greedy bunch to show that they are cutting costs or they think they are to satisfy their egos

The main reason they are talking about cultural perspectives is the fact that AIG is moving the jobs overseas. The language barrier and the fact that there is a large resentment towards these people taking jobs overseas is what the uppers would like to address. GOOOOOD LUCK!
Funny - they just had a meeting in Charlotte, USA to supposedly talk about PEOPLE. I presume they mean the blokes they plan on sacking in the future.
The only things so-called management is interested in is avoiding bad press and above all, getting paid their long term packages.
Even more humourous is the platitudes about diversity, coming from a groupe that was 99% white male.

Very greedy is right. They also took a lot of basics away. For instance things as small as kleenex, paper plates, napkins. It's really bad in some offices. The share holders should go on this site and before the vote on pay for BD and exec's, they should see how the average worker, not management, is treated and feels. It's very sad how employees that aren't part of management are treated.
