Thread regarding Denbury Resources Inc. layoffs

Expect more layoffs at Denbury

So, now that the PV merger has been canceled, we can look forward to more layoffs in order to cut costs that were supposed to be cut through the acquisition.

I'm not sure when it will start, but it would be naive to think they are not coming for sure.

Good luck, everybody.

@YgMxECK-3ysb - That's true, but let's atleast keep it somewhat true to what we are really seeing/hearing around the office.

okay remember people you are on layoff.com, which was created for talk about layoffs. If you don't want "fear mongering" stay off the site.

I could see layoffs happening when the legacy fields are sold. Without an acquisition, our revenue or BOPD per employee or overhead metrics will be the worst in the industry.

Please leave if you don’t want to be supportive and work at DRI. It’s that simple. The negativity is crippling to those of us who are giving it our all. Just go!!

It's about time to do something drastic, like send a few VP's up north to see if they can start up Riley Ridge! Can't come back until the Helium starts to flow.

I think layoffs would be healthy for the company. A significant amount of corporate waste still exists. Cut heads and improve productivity.

we don't need more fear mongering on here. with so much of our oil being sold into the LLS/magellan system, we should be doing well right now at $55+ oil. Our problem is going to be growth until CCA is ready. Where do we grow? That's what we have to figure out.
