Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Seasoned, experienced employees are leaving in droves

Well, looks like DXC has achieved its goal. There is currently a mass-exodus of seasoned employees at the company and the management is saving most likely millions in severance it would have to pay them if they laid them off instead.

But why spend money when you can create such toxic working condition that people will leave on their own?

Getting laid off from DXC was one of the best things to ever happen to me. The place is toxic.

: @Xmks53j-crpo I agree with your assessment. I am still with DXC, just want to add a few more reasons to be still with DXC.

, 1. Getting a paycheck without any pressure.

  1. Hanging on for healthcare until getting thrown out or finding a new job, whichever happenns first

  2. Close to retirement, hi he can go with unemployable. But more about going out with severance and calling it a day.

Now, bottom line is, no one gives a damn about the co, either

Anyone who’s worth their salt left long ago. If you are still there, you are either unemployable or dilusional. Crooked operation.

After 20 years of service I just got retrenched. At least I got a payout!

Not fake news. I know of 4 now ex-DXC employees in Australia with 10+ years of experience who have forgone a WFR and resigned from DXC. They left with the knowledge that DXC does not value their skills by adequate compensation increases over the years and their replacements are clueless fools that will struggle with inadequate training opportunities and ever-increasing demands from customers who are challenging DXC's deficiencies every day. The 4 folks can now look forward to less stress, more equitable working conditions, better pay and better balance in their lives. 1 of the folks consistently worked 50+ hours per week with little recognition and poor support from DXC in terms of knowledgeable resources that could apply themselves rather than sitting back and doing diddly squat.

Yes, Massive Exodus. People are sick of this toxic Culture. In Bangalore and Chennai, lots of people leaving and with this news of next set of WFRs etc. People have no intent to stay
