and bloody hell now they have synergy2. the tcs senior management was here in ny posturing like hell to get everything outsourced.
to Post ID: @XVvkw3Q-1rei, the managers/directors are there to assign work to the fixed price contractors (both on and offshore) and then conduct and attend meetings surrounding various, excel spreadsheets and powerpoint presentations.
Synergy workers! LOL! You have to tell them what to do, when and help them prioritize. It's like a ship w/o a captain if nobody is around to guide them... you probably won't end up where you want!
A shame but 19% of the ppl in my department was axed this week. Alot of them are very experienced older folks who will be hard to replace.
Anyone think our so called Synergy vendors can fill the gaps? Ummm no...
Why are they laying off just the workers?? I have not read anything about getting rid of some of these lazy az Managers and Directors. Are they going to end up doing the work? Or, when all the workers are riffed, they just get to sit in their offices and continue to get paid to doing, nothing!!!!
Need to save up to layer-in more Executives ... more layers of management... less folks to do the work... that’s how we operate the sinking ship. Then couple of qtrs down the road, we’ll spend millions to hire consultants to advise us that we need to de-layer (as we did back in2014/2015)... then full circle again...as most of the folks have seen.
Sad. We need IT more than ever. What on earth are they thinking
Yikes. Cant believe no ones gone postal yet

Above that number. That was just 1 day worth
200 IT people all over the country.
