It's all very quick and quiet. I hear the current wave is in the high thousands. That sounds pretty MASS to me. Most get notified on a Thursday and they're gone that Friday. I was hit in May 2019. Successful, profitable US ITAR services account, meeting SLAs, But as they say, "If it ain't broke, break it!"

DXC = Doesn't Care (X is a multiplier)

To school those that are saying " When or where this layoff is with DXC, it is happening. I am on the PLO COSD account and my last day, along with my team mates, was scheduled for March 30, however, my account and desk got extended until April 30, 2019 along with other desks (Lily, DRMP, BCBS, etc) So i do know a thing or two of whats going on. As far as my account, we are in transitioning and helping agents in Tulsa, Oklahoma. DXC wants to get out of michigan, as far as I know. And other desks are moving to Tulsa as well. I am thankful that I found something and leaving before my end date. Also, just heard some news that some desks are getting extended to June. So listen carefully and make your own choice. Live and learn

Who talks like this "if you are working from long time"? Maybe you meant "if you have been working for CSC or HPES for a long time" , but "from long time" makes no sense.

So where was the MASS layoff, anyone have counts, from this post I only seen 3 , heard of one in ANZ, but she was moved to another area in the company. What is "US IT Dept" ??? If you work for DXC and not HR or accounting, your IT. Give some details, Cloud? Networking? HUB's (and which ones?) , ITAR accounts something

US IT Dept is taking another hit so IT can be outsourced to a terrible 3rd party company. We're done in May.

Several Accounts are moving out, just open your eyes and you will see most of the staff not having any work.

billing will become an issue as there is absolutely no increase in sales.

all profit is coming by cutting staff. if that was the way a company can grow, ten better to remove all the staff and just watch the Balance sheet shrink within a year.

Layoffs should start removing 90% of HR people. Intel brings HR temps work force to deal with hiring blacks & Hispanics. This is BS. Hire only qualified people, period! Who cares what color they are. Don't lower GPA requirement when bringing on interns because you're looking to meet BK's goal. He's no longer there.

Next - get rid of these useless Ops Mgrs. They add no value. Then Finance. Keep the engineers who are non Indian.

Intel - take my advice, you will not notice if these people are laid off. But you will notice your bank account.

You're welcome!

Agreed this is a worthless post of course dxc and formerly CSC has been doing layoffs for the past 7 years since Mikey joined it's just the eds people who come from a bloated company with old clients using old technology that don't understand. Additionally the eds folks can't admit that CSC acquired them they were 1.5 billion dollars in debt.they were sold for 12 billion dollars and CSC bought them for 8.5 billion dollars but the stock price doubled an HP sold out of the stock so in reality dxc bought EDS for 4 billion dollars. There's so much overhead in terms of locations data centers and people still from EDS that they're going to be drastic cuts of course

You mean in 4 days :) Of course layoffs are going to happen, they happen every month and since this is the last month of the fiscal year. DXC needs to make numbers. Tell us something about where the layoffs will happen, what departments, countries , Locations. Don't be a freaken mo--n , if you have 1/2 a brain you know layoffs are coming next month.

Mikey is banking on cut, cut, cut so his retirement bonus is in the bank, and then BAM, he's gone. Meanwhile the stupid shareholders are asleep.

There have been layoffs in every quarter in this company and it’s anticedants since the Millenium! No change then. Hang on in there, until the time is right, take all you can, do the bare minimum and leave when it suits you. Good luck.

Mass Layoffs? Really? OMG! Are you serious? This bright, new promising coroporation - who is losing revenue and people every year - is going to layoff even more? I must be dreaming.

So no change then.

Good costs and bad costs are being stripped. No alignment to strategy. No value propositions that actually bring value, employee surveys where the results have been instructed to be locked in a fireproof safe for 10 years and declining customer satisfaction where flashing red is the new green.

The agenda has always been to reduce staff to that of a 4-man tent by 2020. The top tier will then inspect the operating model for any remaining efficient operational areas, sell them on and push the rest to auction as firewood. Mikey will stay to collect his dividends and he and his trained pet will then retire to the bahamas.

Same ol' Same ol'
