US - If you got paid on Feb 1, and got WFR, what is the healthcare premium for

Got paid the biweekly paycheck on February 1st and that was last day at work due to WFR. The healthcare deduction on that check, is that for next two weeks? Then company pays for 1 month COBRA or how does it work if any of you know some details.

I believe that the Federal law states that your insurance will be good for 30 days. Then you either pay for COBRA or signup with your new employer.

Sorry to hear your situation about the confusion on COBRA, but happy for you that you WILL find a better position and be out of this cesspool

Now that HR has been outsourced, maybe there will be a number to call and a human being to talk to ?

Good luck
