DXC is taking out thousands of employees next week. Merry Christmas! Losing business by the millions. Lawrie and his GF, Jo Mason couldn’t run a lemonade stand. He hates clients. Worst company on the planet. SEC is queuing up an investigation (about time). Wait until Trump starts Tweeting about Laurie!

A person on the same project is me was notified they are WFRed on Friday 12/21. They are in AMS. Most of the people on the project are India contractors, so not sure of the total volume of WFRs
DXC is FUBAR
All centers in India. Big layoffs in Dec last and Jan 2019
We are already anonymous why send anyone an email? Gentlemen (and ladies) enjoy the sh--show this Thursday (depending on timezone). Don't feel bad, feel good that you are finally free from this sh--, get unemployment benefits if you can and find better companies out there that can value you as a resource.

@WC6q1GY-hyg - If you are not employed on Dec. 31st you do not get company match.
Consider total numbers and %s in your case. How many people in the company do you know, that you would immediately see exit? Consider you saw one of what 130K? If they exited 2K, how many do you think you would know and be informed about? I only see about 1/3 of the peers I know exiting even sending an email.
I've seen the 10% number for AMS, and its legit. It won't hit in Dec, but Jan.
I have only heard of one person so far, where are the thousands ? Give details if not names there are ways to give more details
What more do you need to believe? Nobody is going to give names, those get pulled. Hundreds of DXCers have been on calls this week and last to pick those that will be exited from AMS businesses. Name a region or center, and they will have names on the list if they are in delivery.
You're anonymous. Stop being cagey and supply details.
100% it’s happening in the UK, January people will be let go if they don’t meet voluntary numbers.
How can you even doubt this? It’s all over the news.

If you want to believe it is all BS, go ahead. I can assure you announcements will be made for employees this week, just as last week. I know of cuts in UK, US and Canada.
I can also tell you to expect a full 10% culling in Jan 2019 for all regions, all centers that work AMS accounts.
probably the 2 people Workday practice?
-3gam - an entire practice that was disbanded ? - which one ?
Which practice?
Several colleagues in the US were notified on Friday, including an entire practice that was disbanded.
DXC is taking out thousands of employees next week. Merry Christmas! Who, where , you can't make a statement like this and provide no details. It's all bull c-ap,
"How does that work in US with 401k vesting?"
If you are not officially employed with DXC on 31 December 2018, you will not receive the company match for the year 2018.
Dxc was created by incompetent management. Why would anyone expect its day to day operation to be different?
SEC is a collective empty suit. Nothing to worry about. Ask Elon Musk. He got scantioned and still does exactly what he wants, as he realizes the SEC is essentilly all bluster.
Transparency seems to be the new fabric of choice this season . DXC is still wearing a polyester leisure suit . Be careful near the Yule log fire 🔥.
What a sad story on DXC. This company is being driven into the ground by incompetent management. Where are the old time executives who ran a company to keep employees, customers, the economy and charities happy. It is so interesting to see how all the dynamics of society today are driving this company into the ground. So sad.
Sounds like more forbes journalistic click-bait because of DXC's size 1yr in; It's promise of $26B first year revenues to investors that never happened and 'buybacks' that didn't inflate the SP. But really? An investigation?
I assume naming your source is out of the question then?
The last SEC 'investigation' into DXC (parent of...) resulted in a fine of $190,000,000 for CSC back in 2015 for charges of fraud (that took place pre-2012). EDS was also fined for wage violations in 2007. The rest have been civil court cases and lawsuits.
I doubt someone on the board would be feeding evidence of confidential meetings to the SEC in the hope of prising the chairman out on the grounds of malfesance. It's a more likely scenario to be irregularities in the filings and ownership claims, with all these deals to fatten the landscape and make things look rosy for those at the top.
The last SEC filing for DXC looks innocent enough. It was Paul Suleh's 31st Nov 2018 submission for DXC to borrow $400M from the Mizhuho Bank. There is mention of a brown paper bag. We can guess that this is to offset the next Jan-March headwinds and workforce reductions.
The last Inspector general's audit of the SEC, seems to show the SEC has its own things to address first. Like allowing names/addresses to go on public record without consent; registering a false filing of company take-overs in EDGAR (to influence share price) without the proper checks or not having proper security on the database commensurate with the SEC's security mission. Sounds like they need to get their OWN house in order first!
So the intrigue continues. Because Just the mere hint of an SEC investigation into DXC would put a smile on the faces of thousands ex-employees and likely drop the share-price.
Oops, now we've gone and soiled the google search.
In India???
I think a SEC investigation would be a perfect christmas present for many thousands of us.
Would like to see where this information came from.
