I don't understand why so many associates are staying at their jobs so late in the game including at liquidating stores when things are looking so bad for the company.
I got out of Sears after working there for over 20 years and found another full time job where health benefits are equivalent to or better than what I got at Sears....but I am paying less than half of what I was paying for health benefits at Sears.
Alot of associates seem to want to wait it out to the very end or are hoping for some miraculous 9th inning recovery of the company.
What happens when all these associates flood the job market all at the same time competing for jobs?
Meanwhile, those that planned ahead and got out soon enough have already established themselves at new companies.
Good post @W5TmOZe-exs . Think that we all need to be aware of the situation and start looking for jobs instead of hoping for a miracle.
