Yes, yes, yes. Oracle operates like the mafia. Watch your backs everyone.
Isolation is a problem to watch for..... if you are isolated, lies can be told behind your back... make sure you connect to others around you as much as possible or get the hell out.
If you are not recording everything, your manager may be recording you, especially if you are upset about anything. Character assassination is big at Oracle, and one way of getting rid of the best employees is to attack their character and/or humiliate them. Don't trust your manager or any of his closest thugs.
Youse guys are da worst mafiosas ever! Be like Pauly. He never used the phone. Tooty delivered his messages in person. And Artie was stupid, he kept a ledger of all his trips for the Midwest bosses because he thought he would get reimbursed. Donnie the Orange has never used email! Geez Louise!
Actually as I remember, a politician first came up with this one.
And the golden rule for surviving with this mafia; consider tracking, recording and keeping anything suspicious.
If you are honest and ethical, in Oracle you will need all this information sooner or later.
