Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

People are actually buying this???

As per the call that happened today, the current staff is approx 110 K , this number needs to be brought down to approx 60K by 31-Dec-2018.

Do you honestly think that DXC can get rid of 50,000 people within four months? Seriously? Man, it's easy to get you guys going...

Check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DXC_Technology start of 2018 DXC has 150K employee and removing 60 K means it will 90K during start of 2019.

Try asking Mikey's GF to explain as to why WFRs are required and who are the beneficiaries - Mikey receives a bonus, governments collect taxes, DXC employees experience short term pain before realising that DXC is a moving feast of BS, and so on.

@V0tUlH9-1ynu: they will do whatever they bloody well like - they strongly dislike anybody who came up through the EDS ranks and can remember the attributes of a good employer. The current lot are just a bunch of pirates who are here today and gone tomorrow.

The rumor is a FACT and as time passes, you will see that each and every post here always made sense and was true, no matter how bad it sounded.

Joining DXC by way of mistake is a "MISTAKE" google "DXC reviews" and see the c-appy stories that the employees have to tell

All due to this mismanagement just to run the company to the ground. Still so many managers around, managing nothing.

On merger of CSC and HPE, quarterly reviews with quarterly salary hikes was promised rather than at the end of the year. The reality is that none of the staff get the salary hikes, it was only the managers and management.

So forget about a future in DXC, the past is proof of whats coming.

@V0tUlH9-1ynu - That is exactly what the CSC'ers think of the EDS&HPE guys. All metrics have proven and activity post that clearly shows where the culling was needed. Enough said.

Who ran the call? This sounds like the so-called rumor is now a FACT. It is very easy to get rid of 50,000 employees ... Mikey just signs the Executive Order and snap - 50,000 less employees exist on the books. Meanwhile his Christmas bonus is in the bank.

I hope they don't. Those of us that already left EDS & HPE and joined the contract market with our payoffs securely banked don't want a skip load of low skilled, entitled CSC deadwooders joining in bulk and giving us a all a bad name.
